The Way Back Home

This is a personal project developed as a conceptual children’s book cover, inspired by the parable of the lost sheep.

The goal was to explore storytelling through a single illustration, focusing on emotion, atmosphere, and visual narrative without relying on explicit religious imagery. The concept reflects themes of guidance, care, and belonging through a warm and gentle visual language.

The illustration depicts a sheep in a calm natural environment, guided by soft light that symbolizes protection and direction. The composition was designed to communicate a sense of quiet discovery and emotional comfort, typical of contemporary children’s book covers.
