The Girl and the Lost Star

The Girl and the Lost Star is a personal illustration project created to explore children's publishing and visual storytelling.

The concept follows Luna, a curious young girl who discovers a small star that has lost its way. Through themes of hope, kindness, and belonging, the story celebrates the idea that even the smallest light can find its way home.

For this project, I created a conceptual book cover and a final story spread, focusing on atmosphere, character expression, and emotional narrative. The illustrations were designed for children aged 6–10, combining magical elements with warm, inviting visuals to create a sense of wonder and comfort.

This project allowed me to explore editorial illustration, cover design, and storytelling through key moments of a fictional children's book.
